This is the story of when the Tokugawa Ieyasu was defeated at the Battle of Sanpogahara.

Hideyoshi kept one big monkey.

When daimyos visited, Hideyoshi tied a monkey to the passage expressly.

Hideyoshi made a monkey train to bare a tooth and jump at daimyos.

He had a habit that enjoy peep how the feudal lord who is surprised to monkeys.

Masamune to hear this said illness and did not visit Hideyoshi.

He bribed the manager of the monkey with money and goods and succeeded in taking out a monkey secretly.

When Masamune happened to pass, the monkey showed a tooth and was going to attack, but Masamune repeated it with a whip each time and swatted it.

As a matter of course, monkey came to be frightened when the monkey gradually looked at Masamune. And Masamune returned a monkey to the cause of the manager.

And Hideyoshi knew that Masamune visited after a long absence.

Two military commanders fought by a battle of Sukagawa frequently.

Masamune said to see this state far from far away.

Masamune Date was born as the lord of a castle of Yonezawa, the eldest son of Terumune Date.
