SennoRikyu was born as a child of the fishmongers of Izumi country Sakai.
He got close to a tea ceremony from childhood and became the pupil of the master of tea ceremony.
1568
Nobunaga Oda achieves a visit to the capital and imposes yasen(Something like tax) on Sakai.
There were many things to resist in the merchant, but SennoRikyu met Nobunaga by an introduction of Munehisa Imai, and it became a master of tea ceremony.
1582
Honnoji-Temple Incident happened. (Nobunaga Oda died)
SennoRikyu served Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and even a political aspect came to have influence as one of the important aides afterwards.
1585
SennoRikyu served a guardian of Hideyoshi at the tea party KinchuChakai(Tea ceremony at the Imperial Palace) when Hideyoshi took office as a kampaku.
1587
SennoRikyu managed large tea ceremony in Kitano-Tenman-gu Shrine of Hideyoshi.
1589
He make Hideyoshi angry by having sold having displayed one's wooden statue in Daitoku-ji Temple and one's own tea service set at an unfair high price, and SennoRikyu is kept away from an aide. (the reason kept away has various opinions)
1591
SennoRikyu committed harakiri by an order of Hideyoshi.
