Kenshin Uesugi




1530
Kenshin was born as Echigo country sub-military commissioner, a child of Tamekage Nagao.

1536 (in the days of 7 years old)
Because father, Tamekage retired, and Harukage Nagao of the older brother inherited birthright, Kenshin studied under guide, Tenshitsukouiku in Rinsenji-temple of Kasugayama.

1542
Father, Tamekage died.

1543
It was carried on its shoulder for power to express its disapproval of a fine weather view and had the ceremony of manhood and became the Tochio lord of a castle of the Echigo country.

1544
The Tochio Castle was attacked by the association of powerful family of the anti-Nagao group, but repulsed it. (war of the Tochio Castle)

Hidetada Kuroda of the Kurotaki lord of a castle rebelled, but subjugated this.

1546
Hidetada Kuroda rebels again, but Kenshin succeed in subjugation again and kill Hidetada Kuroda.

1548
Kenshin was divided into power to carry an older brother, a fine weather view on its shoulder and was opposed to the power that was going to recommend a view tiger for a sub-military commissioner.

Because a fine weather view retired by intermediation of Sadazane Uesugi of the Echigo country protection, in succession to Nagao house, it became the Echigo country sub-military commissioner.

Kenshin moved a castle to Kasugayama.

Sadazane Uesugi of the Echigo country protection died.
Kenshin in this way became Echigo king.

Kenshin let the Fusakage Nagao view of the Nagao, Ueda house where Kenshin made an objection against the birthright inheritance of the view tiger and resisted, Masakage Nagao father and son surrender and subjugated the Echigo country.

Kenshin received the request of Yoshikiyo Murakami and others of Kitashinano pursued by Harunobu Takeda (Shingen) of the worth country and sent troops and confronted Shingen by a war of the first Kawanakajima.

Kenshin visited the capital and was honored with an interview with Emperor Gonara and general, Yoshiteru Ashikaga.

At this chance Kenshin succeeded to a Kanto district administrator from Norimasa Uesugi in Hachiman-gu Shrine of Kamakura and changed his name to Masatora Uesugi from Kagetora Nagao.

A war of the fourth Kawanakajima.

A war of the fifth Kawanakajima.

Masakage Nagao dies in an accident. In children of Masakage to Kiheiji(Kagekatsu Uesugi) adopted child of the nephew.

Kenshin let he attack the Hitachi country Oda Castle recaptured by Ujiharu Oda and surrender.

Kenshin conclude relative by marriage relations with Ujiyasu Hojou of the Sagami country to send troops to Kanto, and to prepare for Shingen Takeda of the worth country.

Kagetora Uesugi and the christening return home that it was allied with Ujiyasu Hojou (EtsusouDoumei) and assumed child of Ujiyasu, Ujihide Hojou an adopted child, and were one's first name.

Kenshin receive information that Shingen Takeda performs an Ueno country stable bridge castle (Maehashi Castle) attack and send troops to Kanto, but go back to my own country afterwards.

It gave Buddhist name, Kenshin.

The alliance becomes the destruction by Sagami country, death of Ujiyasu Hojou and Kenshin conclude an alliance with Nobunaga Oda of the Owari country this time and comprise it to Shingen Takeda.

Kenshin conquer the Ueno country Ishikura Castle of Takeda.

Kenshin confront association of Takeda, Hojo, but it does not become the war and goes back to my own country afterwards.

Kenshin take the field, and he attack the earnestness riot group of the Tomiyama Castle, and it is captured to the Ecchu country.

Kenshin go to the front of the Ecchu country and perform a sweep war of the riot at all and let Yasushi Shiina paternal blood surrender.

Because Yasushi Shiina paternal blood grew away again, Kenshin go to the front of the Ecchu country and attack the Tomiyama Castle again.

A menace of Takeda fades by death of Shingen Takeda.

Kenshin attack the post of Yasushi Shiina paternal blood and Takeru Jinbo and subjugate the Ecchu country.

Kenshin attack the earnestness riot of Kaga country morning sun Yamashiro, but have a hard fight.

Kenshin send troops and I attack Narishige Yura of the Ueno country Kanayama castle of Hojo and Musashi country Hachigata castle, 忍城, the Kisei castle and go back to Kanto to prepare for Ujimasa Hojou who invaded and attacked in the Ueno country.

Ken-nyo and reconciliation of opposed Honganji.

Katsuyori Takeda and reconciliation.

Kenshin cancel an alliance with Nobunaga Oda. To the boss of the anti-Oda alliance.

Kenshin attack Jinbo and subjugate the Ecchu country.

Kenshin attack Takeru and subjugate the Noto country.

By a war of the Tedori River, it is won by Katsuie Shibata.

Kenshin returned to Kasuga Yamashiro and became available in preparation for a great expedition (visit to the capital, Oda attack).

1578
Sudden death.
Because Kenshin did not leave a will, he had the succeeding fight of the adopted child of two, the revolt of the palatial residence posthumously, and Kagekatsu Uesugi won to Kagetora Uesugi and inherited birthright.

Shingen Takeda





1521
Shingen Takeda was born as worth country protection, heir of the Takedas in Kaigenji.

1533 (in the days of 13 years old)
Shingen married a daughter of Oogigayatsu Uesugi present head of a household, Tomooki Uesugi.

1534
A honest woman of Shingen, a daughter of Tomooki Uesugi died because of a difficult delivery.

1536
The Takedas was allied with the Imagawa family of the Suruga country.
Shingen was married Lady Sanjō.

1537
Shingen went to the Shinano country Saku county for a first campaign according to father (Nobutora Takeda).
Shingen perform an Uminokuchi Castle attack of the Shinano country Saku county alone and win on this occasion.

1538
Eldest son, Taro were born. (Yoshinobu Takeda)

1541 (in the days of 21 years old)
Shingen expelled Nobutora Takeda who was famous father by misgovernment with Nobukata Itagaki and others in the Suruga country and became the present head of a household for 17 generations of the Takedas.

1542
Shingen made a daughter of Yorishige Suwa a concubine.

1553
War of the first Kawanakajima.

Yoshimoto arranged a marriage between his legitimate son Ujizane and the daughter of Ujiyasu HOJO (Hayakawadono), tying his family to the Takeda clan as well as the Hojo clan, and formed the Ko So Sun Sangoku Domei (alliance between three provinces; Kai, Sagami and Suruga) (this negotiation is also called the 'Tripartite alliance of Yoshimoto IMAGAWA, Ujiyasu HOJO and Shingen TAKEDA').

He became a priest (39 years old) in 1559 and gave Shingen.

When Oda Nobunaga fells Imagawa Yoshimoto in the competition in Okehazama, Shingen has begun to break Dreibund and invade to Suruga country Imagawa family.

For the preparation to Echigo country Kagetora Nagao (Kenshin Uesugi), Shingen constructed a castle in Kaizu Castle (Matsushiro Castle) in Hanishina-gun.

By a war of the fourth Kawanakajima, Nobushige Takeda who served adjutant general in younger brothers was killed in action.
And Morozumi Masakiyo and Kansuke Yamamoto and others have been killed in a battle, too.

1564
A war of the fifth Kawanakajima.

1568
Shingen subjugated the Suruga country which invaded and attacked by combination operation with Ieyasu Tokugawa in the Suruga country at one time. Shingen crashed into Hojo who is a kinsman of Imagawa afterwards in the Suruga country.

1569
Because Ieyasu Tokugawa was allied with Ujiyasu Hojou, Shingen left Baisetsu Anayama for Yokoyama castle and retired from a soldier.

Because Ujiyasu Hojou was allied with Kenshin Uesugi, it is invaded and attacked via Ueno country to Musashi country, the Sagami country.
Shingen raided Odawara-jo Castle, but it solved a siege in four days without falling and left for the Kai country.

Shingen won in the Hojo military which he attacked from the Musashi country by way home, a war of the Mimase Pass of the Sagami country.
It was a chance to withdraw Hojo from the Suruga country.

1570
Shingen annexed the Suruga country which withdrew of Hojo.
He ruled over Ueno country, Totoumi country, Mikawa country, Mino country, a part of the Hida country other than worth country, Shinano country, Suruga country by these days.

1572
Shingen who worried for rise of Nobunaga Oda started a visit to the capital war in response to an appeal of Yoshiaki Ashikaga by 30,000 big armies.
He defeated Ieyasu Tokugawa by a war of Mikatagahara and went to the west.

1573
A chronic disease turned worse (there was a divergent view that it was shot with a gun), and Shingen stopped a march.
Shingen died a regretful death in Komaba of Shinano country Ina on the way to a Kai country.
